What the freak? What am I, a flippin doctor? I thought this was a statistics class, not an obstetrics class.
So here was my BS answer:
"When pregnant women move around a lot it can cause an early birth. Perhaps there are many working women who are up on their feet all day and go into labor because of it. So because most work weeks are Monday through Friday, it would make sense to have a birth on a working day than a weekend resting day."
Is that even true? Let's hope the TA that grades this believes me.

Its because Doctors don't work on weekends. They'll induce early, or have the woman wait until monday.
